imageIf someone suggested this, what would you say to them?

“The only guns permitted will be the following:

a. Smoothbore or Rifled muzzle-loading blackpowder muskets…

b. Double-barrel breech-loading shotguns…

c. Bolt-action rifles with a magazine capacity no greater than five rounds.

We will pry your gun from your cold, dead, fingers… Guns, except for the three approved categories, cannot be inherited…

Police departments are no longer allowed to sell or auction weapons used in crimes after the cases have been closed…

We will submit a new tax on ammunition. In the first two years it will be 400 percent of the current retail cost…Thereafter it will increase by 20 percent per year.

We will initiate a nationwide “buy-back” program, effective immediately, with the payouts coming from the DoD budget…

The major gun manufactures of the United States, less those who create weapons for the federal government and the armed forces, will be bought out by the United States of America, for our own damned good.”

What if the person who suggested this was military? A Lieutenant Colonel in the Army? Would you speak up?

Please read the entire “suggestion” from Army Lt. Col. Robert Bateman “It’s Time To Talk About Guns and the Supreme Court”

Are you good and mad? Do you feel violated by the mere suggestion of this gun grab, especially from someone in the military? If so, here’s his email:

Please send him a polite, yet firm, reminder of what our Second Amendment rights truly are and how his suggestions violate them.

If this type of thing doesn’t happen in our lifetime, what about our children’s? Let’s say it may not happen in theirs, but they are currently being taught the same views that Robert Bateman has… What will you do?

imageLet me introduce you to my friend Shad Carroll. A Christian, a father, an Army veteran, a patriot, and a Texan. Shad has started a company, Children of Liberty, whose mission is to teach children about God, patriotism, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Children make up about 25% of the population but they are 100% of the future.

Rush Limbaugh currently released a book for young children, which makes learning history fun and exciting. My children aren’t quite old enough for that book yet. However, Shad has a six-year-old daughter and has written a book for around her age group. I look forward to buying my copy around the first of the year!

Shad has plans in the works for monthly children’s classes that will teach them what they are not learning in public school – the truth about our Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and much more American history. Annually, children and their parents can attend a wild game cookout, where hunting lessons and firearm safety will be given to those children who are interested.

After reading the opinions of a Lt. Col in the Army, opinions that collide head on with our law of the land, it was nice to see an Army veteran, like Shad, take his passion, knowledge, training, money, and time into something that could very well strengthen the future of America.

Please support Shad with your prayers, a word of encouragement, and/or ideas to assist him in getting this business up and running. While the ideological enemies of America seek to fundamentally transform us, we must fight back. I’m proud of you, Shad, for taking action. I’m proud of every single one of you who refuses to sit silently.

Military Monday message: For the choice you all made that day to sign up for the military…to go where you were told to go…to fight for the country you love…for keeping us safe and defending liberty – thank you!

Soldier on!
